His latest record, “The Rag and Bone Man”, was released in 2019. “Edgy yet accessible in a Luka Bloom meets Bob Dylan kind of way.” Philadelphia Daily News What the Critics are Saying about the Immigrant and the Orphan “..a powerful, deeply moving work that will stay with you long after you have heard it” Sing Out “The Vibe of it (The Immigrant and the Orphan) is, at once, as rough as rock and as elegant as a calm ocean..each song on this album carries an honesty, integrity and quiet passion that will draw you into its world for years to come” Terry Roland – No Depression “If any element of Celtic, Americana or Indie-Folk is your thing, then this album (The Immigrant and the Orphan) is an absolute yes” Beehive Candy “It’s a gorgeous, nostalgic record filled with themes of loss, hope, history and lost loves; everything that tugs at your soul and spills your blood and guts…The Immigrant and the Orphan scorches the earth and emerges tough as nails” Jane Roser – That Music Mag “Up and coming Trad star hits the sweet spot… beautifully played… its Byrne’s natural vocal delivery that makes the album stand out from the crowd” Hot Press (Ireland)
Folk singer Raymond Coleman was born in his native Ardboe, County Tyrone. Along with his unique vocals & his love of ballads he is quickly making a name for himself in the Irish/American music world.
Raymond has played festivals all over America and in Ireland. He recently appeared on the Joanie Madden folk n Irish Cruise & Cleveland Irish cultural festival Ohio. Raymond’s love of music is evident in his performances. He captivates his audience with his contagious charm & witty sense of humour & has the ability to tell a story as he sings with a robust yet often gentle timber in his voice. Not only is Raymond a singer but he is an all round performer where he accompanies all his songs with his guitar. Raymond’s love of music was largely influenced by his favourite musicians Finbar Furey, Christy Moore & Christy Hennessy. Raymond now lives in Philadelphia, so you can catch one of his magical music journeys in many different Irish/American pubs or clubs along the east coast.
Tim Buchanan is a multi-instrumentalist from the Philadelphia area. Brought up in a neighborhood with strong traditional Irish music roots, Tim finds himself being a frequent “trad” session attendee. Often recording and playing with various local singer-songwriters, however, more recently he has been playing shows with Raymond Coleman, Poor Man’s Gambit, and the Irish Wilburys.
The American Celtic Christmas Irish dancers are an elite troupe from all over the tri-state area. Many of our performers hold national and international competitive titles and have been featured on CBS3 News as well as the Fox 29 morning show. They have toured the US with professional Irish dance productions, have performed in Times Square, and many have had the privilege of being cast members in the leading Irish dance program studio2stage and it’s production, “That’s Dancing.”
